Flower Stein -  Fayence Style

Hand painted and specially fired using tin oxide for the characteristic glaze.  The Fayence technique can be traced back to 500 years BC.  The earliest mention is from Persian text. This piece features a delicate bunch of spring flowers.  Pewter lid and base. 
Two color variations, Blue or Pink.
